How much does it cost to make a Web site?

The answer to this question, unfortunately, is not so straightforward. I will explain in a very few lines what the factors to consider.

• Hosting and domain: These are the first costs to be incurred in creating a Web site. Hosting would be the virtual “space” where your site is located, while the domain is the address you type in to reach that space. Be that as it may, these costs are not very high and you could get by with about 50-60 euros per year.
• Labor: if you hire a professional to build your site, you must of course also pay the latter (usually one-time price + possible small annual sum to keep the site updated).
• Type of site to be made: This is the factor that most affects the final cost, because if it is a showcase site, then the price will be relatively low, but if it is an eCommerce with many products to be included and kept up-to-date, then the price changes.
